Idiocracy, directed by Mike Judge (2006).
You want a funny movie? Watch this one. It's short, almost to its detriment, and the jokes aren't revolutionary, but it attacks its subject so completely that this satire can't help but succeeding. What happens when the entire human race devolves permanently into a Beavis & Butthead stupor? What happens when humanity's only hope is an Everyman extradornaire cum time traveler, played perfectly by Luke Wilson (the Wilson brother without the funny nose)? Let's just say that monster trucks and Carls Jr. play leading roles.
The jokes are pretty easy, but because Mike Judge injects such conviction behind his dystopia, it's still believable and entertaining. Watch it, enjoy it, and think twice the next time you(r smart-self) and your (equally smart) loved one think twice about putting off having children.
