Totally a bad idea

I should be in bed by this point. In bed and fast asleep. And yet I'm here instead. I blame NBC's "The Office". More than anything, they present an accuate portrayal of what it's like to work in an office (minus the hott secretary to flirt with). And, like, that show? As good as it is? It's also a little on the depressing side.

You know how it is.

So, as we're hiring in my office for a new position, I hope that we have a cute (and single) girl come in. At least this will help me live out my goal of living a life as if it were written by mildly crappy writers. Maybe.

Or not. Maybe I'd rather get written into the plot of The Main Office, or whwatever the good Goddamn place thjey call it in the show. You know how it is.

The first two seasons were spectacular. But I really didn't care for the season three opener last Thursday. The Office should be funny, not agenda driven. Introducing an openly gay character on the show is a huge step backward because now they can never go back the way they were. Now the show has to have a political message instead of just making me laugh. I hope and pray that I'm wrong, but I think that the scene where Michael tried to kiss Oscar was The Office's 'jump the shark' moment. Not that separating Jim and Pam helps either. Now I feel really bad about getting my sister the Dwight Schrute bobble head for her birthday. What a waste.
